Free Baby Weight Scale:

This service is offered FREE to our clients.  It is the best way a mother can be assured that her breastfed baby is getting enough.  The client has the opportunity to do a complete pre and post weigh and feed baby checkup with the use of our nursing suite. 

The best times to weight your baby are:
3 to 5 day after hospital discharge, 1 week, 2 weeks, 6 weeks or anytime you may feel you have concerns that your little one may not be gaining.  You may also want to consider making an appointment with our certified and trained lactation consultant to help ease your worries and make sure you and your baby are both doing well.

Both nursing suite and baby weigh scale are located downstairs past our wellness classroom.  

Sweet Beginnings uses a hospital grade LCD digital baby infant scale that measures to 1/4 oz (5g). It can even tell you how much milk your baby has taken in at that feeding.

Breastpump repair/cleaning:

For a minimal fee, this service checks your pump motor and all the parts to make sure everything is still working properly and there are not cracks or problems with anything since its use.  Once that initial inspection has been completed and no problems were detected, we then proceed to clean your bag and pump with a hospital grade cleaning solution to assure a professional clean. 
We DO NOT clean the inside of the motor nor do we clean any spare parts.  All parts which include, tubing, breast shells, shields, membranes and anything else that may have been stored in your bag will be placed in a bag and given to you before we even collect the pump for cleaning.  This assures that no parts will be misplaced.  It is suggested that all spare parts be tossed away due to bacterial concerns and a new package of parts be purchased when the time comes.  The bag is then sealed and packaged for your convenience to store for your next little arrival.   Please allow at least 2 weeks turn around.

Professional Bra Fittings

Did you know that most women are walking around these days wearing the wrong size bra?  It is important to be fitted for a proper bra size, especially during your maternity and nursing time.  This service is free to our clients, just stop in and ask for a free fitting and try on one of our beautiful bras for your comfort.
